Make it a point to call and actually speak to an advisor of the major you are interested in. do as much online research and request info packets. try to visit the campus so you know the conditions. I think so many people don't so their research and are surprisingly "shocked" to find out about how the campus isn't perfect. write a smart essay and show interest. colleges make files for you every time you request info, so they know how much you tried to learn about the school. even though a school is "easy to get into"...it's probably not as easy to stay aflaot..so shoot high but be realistic. make sure you learn about loans if you need them...and ask ask ask questions. the more you know now, the less you will be "shocked" later. it's your future...and you plan it now so be picky, open-minded, and diligent...but always have good times.
